13 And all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for [a]he alone of Jeroboam’s family will come to the grave, because in him (A)something good was found toward Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the house of Jeroboam. 14 Moreover, (B)Yahweh will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam this day [b]and from now on.

15 “So Yahweh will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and (C)He will uproot Israel from (D)this good land which He gave to their fathers, and (E)will scatter them beyond the [c]River, (F)because they have made their [d]Asherim, provoking Yahweh to anger.
